K-City, located in Hwaseong, south of Seoul, opened last year to help provide South Korea’s automotive industry with a global lead in the development of self-driving cars and ADAS technologies.

Initially only the 79-acre simulated urban driving environment’s multi-lane highway facilities are operational, but the dedicated proving ground’s features are expanding to include city centre roads, buildings, road works, bus lanes, school zones and residential streets.
